How Castable Engaged Policymakers for Increased Federal Funding

Challenge:

A major healthcare foundation needed to push federal lawmakers to increase budget allocation for pancreatic cancer research.

 

Solutions:

Castable worked with the foundation to immerse target audiences with sustained digital advertising efforts. With Blackbook, Castable was able to take a multi-tiered approach with a combination of direct buys, geofencing, and custom audience segmentation. We were able to identify media influencers to increase press coverage and place direct buys on sites we knew the target audience would frequent such as The Hill and POLITICO.

To create a robust digital experience for targets, Castable’s always-on geofencing targeted key locations such as the CDC, NIH, White House, and U.S. Congress. 

Results:

The Foundation landed a number of high-profile media appearances, and nearly 10 million high-impact impressions on their very specific target audiences, achieving their goal of increasing awareness for the need to better fund cancer research.
